Following a period in Hannahs (middle) life of significant mental health struggles, She was inspired to create a brand that helped others live more positively on a day to day basis. She was searching for the right brand idea for a while, then one day, when she was looking for a gift for her stepdaughter, the journey for About.me Jewellery began…
At the time, herself and her stepdaughter hadn’t known each other that long, but one thing they had in common was anxiety.
The understanding of this in each other made their connection special. She wanted to buy her a gift that acted as a daily positive reminder to her that she was strong. She struggled to find the perfect gift, and that’s when About.me Jewellery was born.
She wanted a business partner and immediately thought of her good friend Chloe (left). United through both having experiences of mental health struggles, they collaborated to create the brand.
When working on the brand launch, Chloe and Hannah soon realised they needed an extra pair of hands on the team. Someone knowledgeable and passionate about jewellery, with a desire to help others. Hannah was put in touch with myself (right), we had known each other for many years but had no idea about my training within the jewellery business. I jumped at the opportunity to work with Chloe and Hannah, and we are now the foundations of About.me Jewellery.
We are more than just a jewellery brand. We have developed collections that look beautiful but also benefit the mind, body and soul. The philosophy of About.me resonates closely with our own personal experiences and feelings.
Our inspiration is to help you live, think and act more positively through Affirmation and sentiment based pieces. Our ambition is to help you in the toughest of times. Be inspired by our pieces, and wear them as daily reminders of empowerment, strength, love and belief.
